Beijing PKU Chinafront High Technology Co Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of China TransInfo Technology Corp, providing professional integrated solutions, products, and services of transportation informationization. The company aims to become a leading company in China's intelligent transportation industry.
PKU Chinafront was incorporated in October 2000 with a registered capital of 100 million yuan ($15.71 million). Headquartered in Beijing, it has spread its marketing and service network to all major cities across China. The company's main business covers highway/waterway informationization, urban intelligent transportation, rail transit, digital city, highway no-stop toll collection, passenger flow surveillance, monitoring and early warning, and GIS based government informationization projects.
It has independently developed a number of core business application software platforms to serve the transportation industry, such as the traffic emergency command system, traffic data resource integration and service system, operating vehicle GPS monitoring platform, rail transit PIS system, and the management information system of the transportation industry. It also offers the PKU Chinafront TransPLE passenger flow surveillance product, ETC\OBU, and other intelligent transportation products.
By now, 20 innovative products have entered the Beijing procurement list. Among them, TransPLE, a high-precision passenger flow surveillance product, was granted as one of the national key new products by The Ministry of Science and Technology.
