Established in 1987, the Weifang Community Health Service Center was named the nursing home of the Red Cross in 1993. It was among the first exemplary community health service centers in 2000.

The center set up five community health service stations, providing services for 90,000 residents and 30,000 migrants. The center served 460,000 people in 2010. This year, the center held 10 speeches and activities about traditional Chinese medicine for residents and expo visitors.
