A new air route between Taoyuan and Lijiang will open on June 26, 2013, said China Airlines and Mandarin Airlines on May 9.

The Taoyuan – Lijiang flight will be one of the scheduled flights across the Taiwan Straits. Three flights have been scheduled every week, making travel between Taiwan and Lijiang more convenient.

Upon the opening of the new air route, the number of scheduled flights across the Taiwan Straits will reach 118.
