Mascots of COEE unveiled at press conference

A press conference for the 2014 China Ocean Economy Expo (COEE) was held in Beijing on Aug 19, in which the mascots of the Expo "Lanlan" and "Yangyang" were unveiled.

The mascots were designed in the shape of water drops, with one being blue and the other red. They represent Zhanjiang's beautiful environment and historical accumulation of its culture.

According to the organizing committee of the COEE, the five pairs of mascots shown off in the press conference will be exhibited to the public for the duration of the Expo.

A 25-year-old man in Kunming, capital of Southwest Yunnan province, has been rearing snakes for 10 years and has 25 large pythons in his apartment.
