My hometown Yanzhou

Yanzhou, a small pearl on the map of North China Plain, is cradle of Confucianism. The folktale of the legendary hero Dayu dividing the ancient China into Nine Administrative States, the hilarious cry of the Wangyin pioneer farmers working on a virgin soil, the lingering intonation of great poems by Li Bai and Du Fu who had lived in the city for couples of years, the enlightenment of gleaming Buddha of Xinglong Tower, Da Xiangdang, Xiaochang Street, Shaoling Platform, Jinkou Dam, Qinglian Pavilion House, Xinglong Culture Exposition Garden.

These historical sites are representative of an ancient city with brilliant civilization. Just walk around and you will find small boats floating in the West City Moat, the deafening sound of gongs and drums from Jiuzhou Culture Square, the graceful dancing performance in People's Amusement Park.

Yanzhou is also a modern city permeated with an atmosphere of youth and passion.
