D7: Trek to Khangsung Valley
Trek up through a wondrous conifer forest along the ridgeline to Kangshung Valley. The landscapes here are unparalleled.

D8: Trek to Pethang Ringmo
After reaching the campsite in the meadow of Pethang Ringmo, enjoy the tranquility in the camp and have a good rest.

D9: Trek to Hoppo
After passing through some abrupt slopes, the trails become steeper. But the hiking is much easier when following the shepherd tracks. Stay overnight in the camp.

D10: Trek to the Khansung base camp and back to Hoppo
After only a few hours hikers can see the daunting peak of Khansung. Enjoy the brilliant views then move back to the Hoppo camp.

D11: Trek to Langma La
The well-defined trail leads down to another valley and then to Langma La. After hours of hiking, you will reach Mt. Makalu Pass(the fifth highest mountain in the world). It is an amazing experience to camp at the base of such a large mountain pass.

D12: Cross Langma La and back to Lundrubling
Head up and down across the Langma La Pass, and visit the friendly local families on the way. Then camp in the village of Lundrubling.

D13: Trek to Kharta
Move towards Kharta and enjoy the local sights and sounds on the last day of the hike.
