Police attempting to subdue a wild boar in a residential community in Fuqing city, Fujian province discovered one of their bullets had rebounded and hit a nearby girl, chinanews.com reported.
People had been evacuated before police shot the animal but minutes later they found a 26-year-old woman lying on the ground who had been hit by a rebound. She was taken to hospital where she was reportedly out of danger.
