The first Wangfujing International Brand Festival kicked off on Jinbao Street September 12 and turned the Beijing's top commercial district into an ocean of joy.
A group of cheerleaders marked the beginning of the Jinbao Street carnival with their cheerful dancing. Eight jockeys from the Hong Kong Jockey Club performed an elegant horse ballet with their Arabian thoroughbreds.
A team of Segway PT riders, hip-hop dancers, Streetball players and skaters followed the jockeys and demonstrated a mixture of highly technical and youthful shows.
The audience also got to see some "celebrities" and their luxurious roadsters. There was "Bruce Lee" and his Lamborghini, "Micheal Jackson" and his Ferrari, "James Bond" and his Aston Martin, and, oh, "Superman" and his Maserati!
The festival, which will last until September 14, aims to promote Wangfujing's reputation and international influence through a "famous brand - famous shop - famous street - famous city" presentation.
