China Daily reports this week, "US, Australia military relations get closer". This being pretty big news, it's no surprise the paper published a large photo of the two countries' leaders. Let's take a more detailed look at the two leaders "getting closer".

Emotional politicians

Some politicians show emotion in different ways – for example, flipping the "V-sign" to one of your colleagues. In a meeting of the House of Lords in the UK, which by closer examination resembles nap time at the local retirement home, 78-year-old Lord King made a comment about the age of 89-year-old Baroness Trumpington. It seems she may not have appreciated the comment so much.

Social networking fail

It seems like someone other that the Occupy Wall Street protestors have a problem with big banks in the United States. After a social network began allowing businesses to create profiles a week ago, one user set up a fake profile for Bank of America before the company made its own.

Eye drinking

University students in Britain have found a new way to get drunk on alcohol. A controversial new trend called "eye-drinking" is taking the nation's youth by storm. The idiotic, yet intriguingly ambitious participants can get a quick buzz by pouring alcohol directly into their eyes.

This wacky world…

Police in Russia found 29 mummified bodies dressed as dolls in a historical author's house. The only party coming out of that situation happy is the man's Barbie Doll collection.

After being arrested on drug charges, a US couple began engaging in sexual activity in the back of a police car. Doing that trick with their hands cuffed behind their backs deserves applause from any magician.

Canada has started printing what they call "hard-to-forge" plastic bills. Clearly they don't know how much skill forgers in China have.
