Sophie Zelmani is a Swedish singer-songwriter who released her first single in 1995, called "Always You". Sophie Zelmani recorded her debut, eponymous album with Sony in 1995. By 1997, Zelmani's debut album had sold 200,000 copies in Europe and Asia Pacific, before moving to the US market, distributed by Columbia Records. Zelmani said, "I had no ambitions to go abroad. I knew I wanted to make a record. That's all I wanted." Columbia's marketing campaign included CD sampler giveaways, consumer press, and rotation on Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) flights between Scandinavia and the US.

As the saying "When you go to Daehakro, you ought to do the 'Laundry'." proves, the popularity for "Laundry" is more than what we expected. For nine years since its first show in 2005, the show has attracted 35 million audiences, and then in 2012, the show took stage in Japan with license that makes the "Laundry" the national musical. "Laundry" was chosen as the musical by all the talented and famous actors of Daehakro with its tight construction of the story, beautiful music and solid drama that tell a story of under privileged lives in the poor hillside village with more honest yet hopeful sentiment.
