WASHINGTON -- The United States said Wednesday the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) will not be taken off the list of "state sponsors of terrorism" until it has made a full declaration of its nuclear activities.  

When asked if the United States is about to remove the DPRK from the list, White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said, "No. Right now where we are is waiting on the North Koreans to provide a complete and accurate declaration of their nuclear activities."

The United States has repeatedly urged the DPRK to fully declare its nuclear programs.

The six-party talks held in Beijing in February last year reached a nuclear deal, in which the DPRK agreed to disable its nuclear reactor and declare all nuclear programs and facilities by the end of last year to pave the way for dismantlement. However, the DPRK missed the deadline, although there was reported progress in its nuclear declaration.
