Xinchang County 

Xinchang County in Zhejiang province has a long history. Although it is a small county, it has many cultural relics.

The Dafo Temple is very famous. In Chinese, dafo means big Buddha, which is true for the statue of Buddha here. It has a 4.8-meter-long head and 2.8-meter-long ears. About 10 people could sit in the palm of the Buddha at the same time.

The temple has been in Xinchang for 1,600 years. And it is an important place for experts to study the history of Buddhism in China.

Nineteen hills is a scenic spot that has 19 different hills and creeds. The shadow of the hills reflects on the lake, creating a wonderland inside Xinchang. Xinfu Hill, which in Chinese means young woman, stands smiling at the road and lowers her head, welcoming visitors. It is considered the most beautiful hill among the 19. Some fairy tales of the mountain make the hills more mysterious.

Xiaoshan

Xiaoshan is a perfect place to relax where you can enjoy the grand ancient building and have some country food. All the dishes are made of fresh vegetables and local livestock. Imagine rowing a boat in the reed, and drinking with your friends. It makes for a great holiday.

Xiaoshan has the largest musical fountain in East China that can hit about 6,000 people. The great carnival and theme park is a perfect place to go with children. The pirate boat and 800-meter-long roller coaster are some of the most popular rides.

Xiaoshan: Take bus 105 to Shengli Theater, and then bus 515 to Xiaoshan.
