          Six-party talks conclude
          ( 2003-08-29 17:01) (Xinhua)

China's Deputy Foreign Minister Wang Yi speaks during a news conference after the six-party talks on North Korea's nuclear programme ended in Beijing August 29, 2003. China said all six countries -- the two Koreas, Japan, Russia, the United States and China -- pledged to study the propositions and plans put forward during the talks and maintain consultations to expand common ground. Six-way talks on the North Korean nuclear standoff ended Friday with North Korea accusing the United States of putting the talks in jeopardy by refusing to give up its hostile policy toward the country. The six nations involved have agreed to meet again for further talks. [Reuters]
