Bacelona's Brazilian midfielder Ronaldindo, who hurt his right thigh muscle in the 2-1 win over Real Betis on Sunday, might miss the Brazilian World Cup qualifiers against Peru and Uruguay.

Ronaldinho sustained injury 14 minutes into the match and left the pitch four minutes later. The club said in a statement that a scan was needed on Monday to decide whether or not the player was allowed for World Cup qualifiers.

Brazil atop the South American World Cup qualifying group with six points from two games. Their following two matches are scheduled for November 16 and 19 respectively.
