More foreign blockbusters to be shown in China
          ( 2003-12-14 12:48) (Xinhua)

More Hollywood blockbusters are expected to hit Chinese cinemas next year.

From January, three Hollywood movies including "The Rundown", "Master and Commander" and "Mona Lisa Smile" are to be shown in China.

Chinese film distributors say more Hollywood blockbusters like "The Lord of the Rings III" and "The Last Samurai" starring Tom Cruise are expected to be imported later in the year.

Statistics show that imported films account for nearly 60 percent of China's box office income each year.
