China becomes No 3 semiconductor market

The IDC, a worldwide renown advising and consulting institute, said in a report released on April 19 that China has become the world's third largest semiconductor consumption market with the market revenue topping US$26 billion.

By the year 2008 revenue from this market would exceed $45 billion.
