U.S. envoy to meet South Korean officials

The top U.S. negotiator to talks on North Korea's nuclear program will meet with South Korean officials Monday before the six-nation negotiations resume, a South Korean Foreign Ministry official said Sunday.

U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill will meet with South Korean Vice Foreign Minister Lee Tae-shik and Deputy Foreign Minister Song Min-soon, who also is the South's chief negotiator to the six-party talks, ministry spokesman Lee Kyu-hyung said.

Hill also will meet Unification Minister Chung Dong-young, Seoul's top official in dealings with the North.
