The couple's marriage, that has already been through several rough patches ever since they got married two years ago, faced another setback after Kevin left Britney, 24, home alone to cope with the new baby and their 13-month-old son, Sean Preston.

Sources claim Spears is now furious with her hubby after he left her literally holding the baby.

"All Brit wants is for Kevin to be more hands on with the kids. She thought their relationship was back on track," the Mirror quoted a friend close to the singer, as saying.

The aspiring rapper reportedly reverted to his bad-boy ways, as he hired a private jet and flew his mates to Las Vegas. The gang then headed straight for the Venetian hotel casino, where they partied the whole weekend.

"Kev booked a table at Tao nightclub for both nights where he knocked back Veuve Clicquot champagne and passed around the requisite cigars to celebrate his son's birth. He was surrounded by women and got so into the spirit of things he was seen dancing on tables," the Mirror quoted a source, as saying.

However, when he realized his antics would irritate his pop star wife, he bought her a pair of 'diamond earrings,' which instead of pacifying her anger, had the opposite effect on the recuperating singer.

"Kevin thought the earrings would make up for the fact that he left Britney with the kids all weekend while he partied it up in Vegas. But she was livid that he even considered going in the first place, so when he handed over the present she got so furious she stormed off. They are now barely speaking," said a friend.
