Fruit baskets offer pretty sweet treats

Edible Arrangements, a US-based company specializing in fresh fruit arrangements, is entering the Chinese market.
The 13-year-old company recently opened a boutique store in Beijing and plans to open another five within three years, Edible Arrangements China CEO Wang Jianyi says.
The company's major products are fruit baskets that focus on design and are inspired by the floral arrangement business. Stores run like flower shops that design and deliver fruit baskets.
The company has more than 500 stores in 14 countries and regions.
