The Online Textile City, an online textile-trading platform located at www.qfc.cn, has been an enormous boon for the textile industry of Shaoxing county, Zhejiang province since it was formally introduced last year, local officials said.
Despite the current global economic slowdown, the sales revenue of Keqiao's China Textile City hit a record high of more than 40 billion yuan ($6.4 billion) in the first half of this year.
Buyers and suppliers from 41 countries and regions will gather at the 2012 China Keqiao International Textiles, Fabrics and Accessories Autumn Exhibition, which will run from Oct 26 to 29.
