Exhibition special: Shanghai hosts major industrial shows consecutively

Three consecutive shows that constitute a leading annual industrial event in the Asia-Pacific region - PTC ASIA 2015, ComVac ASIA 2015 and CeMAT ASIA 2015 - open at the Shanghai New International Expo Center on Tuesday.
Responding to the country's "Made in China 2025" initiative and displaying innovative products and services, the three shows are this year running alongside another three big industrial exhibitions - Industrial Supply ASIA, Cold Chain ASIA and Heavy Machinery ASIA - to cover 17 halls, aiming to build a large industrial platform which connects both upstream and downstream businesses.
As an international benchmarking exhibition in the power transmission and control industry, PTC ASIA attracts well-known companies with an impressive lineup this year to represent intelligent manufacturing. A total of 1,575 manufacturers from China and abroad will show their products in an exhibition area of 96,000 square meters.
Businesses in the hydraulic power industry attending the show include Hydac, Hawe, Hansa-Flex, Tokyo Keiki, KTR, Argo-Hytos, moog, Stauf, Atos, Dichtomatik, Kastas, Hallite, Sealtech; Camozzi, aventics, Pneumax, Hitop, Chelic and Mindman.
Leading companies in the bearing industry include Schaeffler, SKF, Jtekt, NTN, LYC and Timken. Enterprises from the spring and fastener field include Qiang Jiang, Fuchun, Mubea and Eagle.
Suppliers of indispensable reducer and motor on transmission chain include Sew, Siemens, Abb, Bonfiglioli, Lenze and Nord. Enterprises in the chain and conveyor belt industry include Hutchinson, Fenner, Megadyne, Colorful, Renold, Iwis, Tsubaki, Donghua and SIT.
All exhibitors will be bringing their state-of-the-art products and technologies to the industrial show.
After two years' development, ComVac ASIA is advancing steadily with an extended scale and improved performance.
During the show, 153 exhibitors from various countries and regions, including Germany, Sweden, Japan, South Korea and China will jointly display in an exhibition area of 12,000 sq m.
Among others, Torin Drive, Bolaite, Mann + Hummel Group, Kangpusl Compressor, Kaishan Group, Kobe Steel Ltd, Bauer Kompressoren, Buma Tech of Korea and Ningbo Baosi Energy Equipment of China will display their innovative products and technologies at the site.
An annual leading logistics event in the Asia-Pacific region, CeMAT ASIA 2015 consists of eight thematic display areas, including systems integration and solutions, conveying equipment, automated guided vehicles, forklifts and parts, hoisting equipment and parts, pallet and storage racks, auto-ID and machine vision, and logistic machines.
Surrounding its theme of "Smart Logistics - Digitalization and Automation" and the plan of "Made in China 2025", the organizers have spared no effort in building the W3 intelligent logistics experience hall to focus on the application of smart logistics to such industries as retailing, food, automotives, e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, tobacco, port services, postal services, e-manufacturing, printing and packaging.
Four hundred and sixty seven world-leading logistics companies including Linde Forklift, Jungheinrich, HeLi, XGMA, Dematic, SSI Schaefer, Swisslog, Csic, Murata, Vanderlande, Bmhri, Siasun and Riamb will display their services in an exhibition area of 47,000 sq m.
A series of spectacular and innovative activities will also be held concurrently.
An Intelligent Manufacturing Forum in cooperation with Vdma will interpret the concept of "Made in Germany". Exhibitors and visitors can communicate with each other at close range, to realize mutual benefits and win-win results at the show.
In addition, the organizers have made an effort to select only professional buyers, to improve the level of the exhibition. CeMAT ASIA 2015 is open to professional visitors. Those who preregister will get free access.
The sponsors will also provide exchange and interaction platforms, such as an online visitor center and an online exhibition and matchmaking system for exhibitors and the preregistered visitors eligible for free tickets, in a bid to provide more business opportunities.
