Cosmetic surgery is always a hot topic for debate（辯論） as people tend to have different views on it. Is it good or bad?
Clearly there are various reasons why people opt for plastic (or cosmetic) surgery. Sometimes it's for a better body or perhaps for health reasons, but at other times it's to boost self-esteem（自尊心） or to please someone else.
Could you go through the pain of cosmetic surgery?
You may have noticed that we've used both 'plastic surgery' and 'cosmetic surgery' in this programme. This is because a lot of people use them interchangeably (互換的), although strictly speaking, there is a difference.
