Rob: With London 2012 less than a year away, there are lots of things happening in the capital city.

Rob: A new photographic exhibition has opened at the National Portrait Gallery showcasing photographs of those involved in the Olympic Games.

The three year project will create around 100 specially commissioned portraits, celebrating those who will collectively make London 2012 happen.

Rob: Andy plays for the GB wheelchair rugby squad and he was photographed with his team-mate Mandip Sammi. He said the photographs show raw energy.

Rob: Now let's hear from Danny Boyle who was at the gallery opening. The acclaimed film director is also the creative director of London 2012.

The stadium's about a mile from where I live and I was very proud of East London, very proud of London. London has given me extraordinary opportunities in my life, really, quite extraordinary really. And it's responsible for everything I've done really in one form or other. So we wanted to, we wanted to reflect that.
