2016年英語語言測評“新方向”研討會(huì)：論文征集

英語語言測評“新方向”系列研討會(huì)是由英國文化教育協(xié)會(huì)于東亞舉辦的年度會(huì)議，旨在為當(dāng)?shù)睾腿蛴⒄Z語言測評趨勢和方法提供不同的視角和見解。

今年議題：標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化測試以及語言能力量表的制定和使用：解決本地挑戰(zhàn)，滿足全球標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。

2016年河內(nèi)大會(huì)將探討標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化測試的作用和影響以及制定和/或使用語言能力量表描述語言能力。本議題旨在強(qiáng)調(diào)該地區(qū)和全球發(fā)言人提交的意在解決這些挑戰(zhàn)的手段和方案。我們還將討論以成績?yōu)楸镜臏y試的優(yōu)勢和挑戰(zhàn)。此前召開的英語語言測評“新方向”系列研討會(huì)為本地和全球觀點(diǎn)的互動(dòng)交流提供了重要論壇，反映出該地區(qū)和全球語言教育正面臨諸多挑戰(zhàn)。

Call for papers: New Directions English 2016

New Directions in English Language Assessment is an annual conference organised by the British Council in East Asia, providing perspectives and insight on trends and approaches in English language assessment locally and internationally.

2016 Conference Theme: Standardised testing and the development and use of proficiency scales: addressing local challenges, meeting global standards.

The focus in Hanoi 2016 will be to look at the role and effects of standardised testing and the development and/or use of proficiency scales to describe language ability. We will also consider performance-based testing: its benefits and challenges. Previous New Directions have provided an important forum for the interaction of local and global perspectives, reflecting the wide range of challenges facing language education both within the region and internationally. The theme aims to highlight the approaches and solutions to these challenges being proposed in the region and internationally.

Submission of Proposals

Proposals are invited for papers that address the main theme of the conference, focusing in particular on any of the sub-themes.

Notification of acceptance by 8 July 2016

Submission of presentation by 1 September 2016
