The owner of the sex shop Powerful, Ma Jiajia, is known as a “female sex liberator.” The flagship store is located in Sanlitun, Beijing. Unlike traditional sex shops in China which are dim and decorated with a sense of inconspicuousness, this particular shop is spacious, bright and filled with light colors. Humorous slogans such as “no entry for the shy” can be found on the walls of the shop. The place has been dubbed “China’s most beautiful sex shop.”
