Making the crucial transition
“I hoped to pull my husband from his busy social life back to the family by giving him a daughter, so I decided to keep the baby,” Chu says.

However, one year after their daughter was born, the relationship broke down when her husband admitted he was having an affair and wanted a divorce.
That was her hardest year, she says. She realized that she had made a huge mistake.
After countless sleepless nights, Chu emerged from the ruins of her marriage and came back determined to be a successful working mother, dressed in her favorite outfits and high-heels.
Chu now runs an online shop selling clothes and spends time shopping, dining with friends and travelling with her two children.
“Hopefully my story can be a reminder to other wives and new mothers not to sacrifice everything for their family, so they stay happy and beautiful,” Chu says.
