Making waves: Beyonce Knowles shows off her new big hair

Only three days ago her pokerstraight hair was praised by the Oscars fashion police. But, never one to get stuck in a style rut, Beyonce Knowles unveiled a mass of curly hair when she visited the MTV studio in New York's Times Square yesterday.

Beyonce, wearing a stunning Grecian-style gown, was at the Oscars on Monday to perform Academy Award-nominated hits from her musical Dreamgirls.

At MTV, where the 25-year-old singer was promoting Beautiful Liar, her new duet with Latino superstar Shakira, she was wearing a rather more down-toearth camouflage tunic.

Her new look comes a day after Victoria Beckham, 32, showed off a new hairdo in Los Angeles, swapping her brown bob for a shorter, layered blonde cut.
