The 2017 Jingyuetan International Forest Mountain Biking Marathon was held on Aug 27 in Changchun, capital of Jilin province. The event was in three parts -- a 60-kilometer mountain biking marathon, a 30-kilometer race and a cycling competition for college students. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

The racing tracks included mountain hills, greenways and a highway around Jingyuetan Lake. More than 700 cyclists from China, the US, Germany, Russia, Sweden and Mongolia took part. The youngest cyclist was only 16 years old. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

Along the racing track, volunteer booths were ready to offer cyclists water and medical aid. The international marathon was an integration of leisure, tourism and sports in Changchun.
