To further expand its tourism market in Suzhou, Liu'an city in Anhui province held a tourism promotional meeting themed "Beautiful Mountains and Waters; Leisure Time in Liu'an" in the Central Hotel of Suzhou on May 9.

Over 200 delegates from tourism departments and the media attended. After an opening performance, Wang Qi, the deputy mayor of Liu'an city, presented a thorough introduction to the city. Then Suzhou Tourism Bureau expressed its wish for tourism cooperation with Liu'an. By the end of the meeting, the Huoshan county tourism bureau signed a cooperation agreement with Suzhou's Tourism Bureau.

The Huoshan county government was one of the co-organizers of this meeting. The county has been developing its tourism, with the expressed goal of becoming China's No.1 mountain resort county. It possesses a large number of mountains and rivers; among them, the most famous are the AAAA-level Dabia Mountain, the AAAA-level Causeway Village, the AAAA-level Foziling and the AAAA-level Nanyue Mountain. The county also has rich cultural features, such as being one of the 12 key red tourism areas in China.

This meeting, which attracted close attention from both the press and tourism communities in Suzhou, is expected to significantly enhance cooperation between Liu'an and Suzhou.
