Regulations of claim when consumers’ legitimate rights and interest are infringed upon by merchants who provide commodities or services by means of false advertising

Consumers whose legitimate rights and interests are infringed upon by merchants who provide commodities or services by means of false advertising may demand compensations from the merchants. In case advertising operators and publishers who cannot provide real names, addresses and contact information of the merchants, consumers may demand the advertising operators and publishers to bear liability for compensation.

In case advertising operators and publishers design, produce, and publish false advertisements of commodities and services which are connected with consumers’ life and health, and cause damage to consumers, consumers have the right to demand the merchants, the false advertising operators and publishers to bear joint liability for compensation.
