The situation where the people’s court does not accept the application for judicial confirmation

According to relevant provisions of the Several Provisions on the Procedure of the Judicial Confirmation of the People’s Mediation issued by the Supreme People’s Court, a people’s court shall accept and make a confirmation in accordance with the law to the application of judicial confirmation raised by foreigners in China, except in the following situations: (1) not belonging to the scope of civil cases accepted by a people’s court or not falling into the jurisdiction of the people’s court applied to; (2) for the purpose of confirming status relation; (3) for the purpose of confirming adoptive relation; (4) for the purpose of confirming marriage relationship.
