Shi Bisheng, the author of Research on Assessment of Inventive Step of Patent, is also a judge of the IP Tribunal of the Beijing Higher People’s Court. He holds a bachelor degree in Engineering from China University of Mining and Technology and a master degree in Civil and Commercial Law from Peking University; moreover he earned a bachelor degree in Law and a doctorate degree on Comparative Jurisprudence from China University of Political Science and Law. He undertook over 500 commercial cases and over 1000 IP cases while serving the Beijing Haidian District People’s Court. He has also been involved in many scientific research programs, such as the National Technical Support Program, the Beijing Philosophy and Social Science Planning Project, and been involved key research projects for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as well as other Beijing Courts.
