The construction of two Shaanxi archaeological site parks has achieved great accomplishments. September 1 will see the opening of Relics Park of King Qin II's (B.C. 230_ B.C. 207) Tomb. Then, on Oct 1, the Xi'an Daming Palace National Heritage Park will open to the public.

The Relics Park of King Qin II's Tomb is located in the south of Qujiang Relics Park in Xi'an, Shanxi province, which covers about 42,667 square meters. The tomb is semicircular in shape, with a diameter 25 meters and a height of 5 meters. The Relics Park of King Qin II's Tomb will present Qin culture and Qin architecture, with cultural themes of "Qiu Sheng Han Yuan" (cold garden in autumn), "Que Wang Nan Shan" (watchtower facing southern hills), and "Zhi Lu Wei Ma" (deliberately confound right and wrong).

85% of the construction of Xi'an Daming Palace National Heritage Park has been completed, and the park will be opened to the public on October 1. The construction of Daming Palace National Heritage Park is the second phase of Daming Palace Relic's Protection and Transformation Plan, which will take 5 years in all, including 3 construction phases with a total investment of 140 billion yuan.

After the opening of Xi'an Daming Palace National Heritage Park, the third construction phase will commence from 2011 to 2012. The park will become a modern city's demonstrative area, boasting a complete infrastructure, beautiful environment and special historical culture. In addition, ancient Tang structures like Linde Hall, Danfeng Gate, three halls (Xuanzheng Hall, Zichen Hall and Yanying Hall) will be restored.
