The relic protection project of Xi'an Daming Palace was launched in October 2007, and it is a key project of relic protection in the Eleventh Five-Year Plan. It has won recognition from UNESCO, the World Relics Protection Center, and State Cultural Relics Bureau.

The Daming Palace National Heritage Park occupies 3.5 sq.km, and its total investment is up to 12 billion yuan. The Palace includes ten typical scenic spots - the tourist center, Danfeng gate, center shaft, Taiye pool, Linde hall, relic center, Xuanwu gate, village presentation, garden landscape and statue, calligraphy museum, pottery museum and recreational center.
