The Peoples Insurance Company of China (PICC) has donated 10 million RMB public liability insurance to the 2011 China Dehong International Water-splashing Festival. The donation was made during a ceremony held in Mangshi, Dehong on April 1, 2011.

All guests and staff working at the festival will be covered by the insurance. Anyone suffering body injuries or loss of property during the course of the festival will receive compensation from PICC.

The 2011 International Water-splashing Festival will be held on April 11-13 in Mangshi, the capital city of Dehong prefecture. Numerous distinguished guests from both home and abroad, including leaders, well-known scholars, news reporters, and representatives of the Dai ethnic group will be invited to the event.
