On August 6th, 2007, Mr. Sun Xiaoyu，Vice President of DRC, met with the delegation headed by Mr. Yunus Carrim, Chairman of Public Enterprises Portfolio Committee of the National Assembly of South Africa. Dr. Sun briefly introduced the current situation of state-owned enterprise reform in China and answered questions regarding the reemployment training for laid-off workers and reform of transiting solely state-owned enterprises to shareholding companies. The delegation is visiting China at the invitation of Financial and Economic Committee of the National People’s Congress. Ms Sun Lanlan, Director General and Mr. Zhang Hongfei, Program Officer of International Cooperation Dept. of DRC were present at the meeting.
