DRC Vice President Liu Shijin met with a delegation of senior diplomats from African countries on September 8. Dr. Liu gave a concise and comprehensive introduction to achievements and basic experiences in the reform and opening up process over the last 3 decades, as well as the major challenges China currently faces. He also answered the questions from the guests concerning China’s economic and social development as well as the China-Africa cooperation. Mr. Yu Bin, Director General of DRC’s Department of Macroeconomic Research, Mr. Lan Weiban, Deputy Director General of International Cooperation Department, and Mr. Gong Sen, Senior Research Fellow of Department of Social Development, attended the meeting.
