On May 21, President Zhang Yutai met with the delegation led by Mr. Hiroyuki Ishigh, Vice Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) from Japan. President Zhang exchanged views with the guests on the current economic situation in China and Japan, as well as the policies and measures to meet the economic downturn. Mme. Sun Lanlan, Director General of International Cooperation Department, Dr. Zhao Jinping, Deputy Director General of Department of Foreign Economic Relations, and Ms. Jiang Xiheng, Division Director of International Cooperation Department, were present at the meeting.
