On June 15, DRC President Zhang Yutai met with a delegation of senior diplomats from African countries. President Zhang brief the delegation on major issues concerning China’s reforms, opening up and development, as well as the major measures taken by the Chinese government to combat the global financial crisis. Among those attended the meeting were Dr. Zhang Xiaoji, Director General of DRC’s Research Department of Foreign Economic Relations, Dr. Wei Jianing, Deputy Director General of Department of Macroeconomic Research, and Mr. Lan Weiban, Deputy Director General of DRC’s International Cooperation Department.
