On May 25, the seminar on “Effects and Prospects of Securities: Facing the Shifting of China’s Economic Growth Mode” was held in Xiamen. The seminar was jointly organized by DRC and Nomura Foundation. DRC Vice President Zhang Laiming attended the seminar and delivered an opening speech. Mme. Sun Lanlan, Director General of the International Cooperation Department chaired the workshop. Mr. Ba Shusong, Deputy Director General of DRC’s Research Institute of Finance made a keynote speech. Among those who joined the seminar and made speeches included Mr. Sun Jie, Chairman, Asset Management Association of China, Mme Zhao Min, Deputy Director General of Investor Protection Bureau, CSRC, Mr. He Jie, Director of Research Institute, Shenzhen Stock Exchange, and Mr. Lu Gonglu, Assistant Dean, Beijing Institute of Securities and Futures. Researchers from Nomura introduced the changes and their effects on securities sector in Japan during the transformation of Japanese economy. Mr. Junichi Ujiie, the President of Nomura Foundation made the concluding remarks.
