On September 9, Dr. Jeremy Rifkin, author of the famous book “the Third Industrial Revolution”, delivered a speech on the third industrial revolution at DRC. DRC Vice President Zhang Laiming chaired the meeting. Dr. Liu Shijin, DRC Vice President, and Mr. Hou Yunchun, former DRC Vice President, attended the meeting. An audience of over 50 participated in the meeting, including leaders and researchers from many DRC research departments and institutes, as well as the relevant officials from the National Development and Reform Committee (NDRC), National Energy Administration. The speech was followed by a heated discussion.
