Han Jun, vice-minister of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), met with the?vice minister of the United States Department of Agriculture and the chief negotiator on agriculture from the Office of the United States Trade Representative on November 13, 2013.

They held talks about agricultural trade between the US and China, food security and technological cooperation in agriculture.

Taking part in the meeting were Ye Xingqing, director-general of the DRC's Research Department of Rural Economy; He Yupeng, vice-director-general of the Research Department; and Xu Xiaoqing, research fellow.
