The vice-minister of the Development Research Center of the State Council, Han Jun met with Michael T. Scuse, the United States Department of Agriculture's under secretary and Mr. Islam Siddiqui, chief negotiator of the US trade representative, on Nov 13 to discuss Sino-US agricultural trade issues, food security, and technical cooperation in agriculture.

Ye Xingqing, director-general and He Yupeng, vice-director-general of the DRC's Research Department of Rural Economy, and Xu Xiaoqing, a research fellow, were on hand for the discussion.
