Abstract:　

The paper analyzes the statistical indicators for China's private investment such as its growth rate, its ratio in the total investment of the society, its rate of contribution to the growth in the investment of the society as a whole, and finds that the private investment is accelerating and the ability for the investment to grow on its own is on steady increase. The paper then examines the factors stimulating and constraining the growth of private investment, and comes up with several proposals for further promoting private investment.
