Han Jun, vice-minister of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), met with Michael Scuse, undersecretary for farm and foreign agricultural services of the US Department of Agriculture, on Sep 17. They exchanged views on Sino-US agricultural trade and food security.

The DRC's He Yupeng, vice-director-general of the Research Department of Rural Economy, and Zhang Hongfei of the International Cooperation Department joined the meeting.
