Professor Ali Resul Usul completed his BA, MA and PhD studies at Bo?azi?i University, Department of Political Science and International Relations, Bilkent University, Department of Political Science and the University of Essex, Department of Government, respectively. He has so far taught at different universities, including Bilkent University, Beykent Univertsity, Bah?e?ehir University, ?stanbul Ticaret University and Istanbul ?ehir University. He has published extensively on Turkey-EU Relations, the issues and problems of democratization, politics in the MENA countries, Central Asian Politics and some different theoretical issues in the IR discipline. One of his books, Democracy in Turkey: The Impact of EU Political Conditionality, was published by Routledge in 2011.
