Heikki Oksanen, professor at the University of Helsinki, gave a lecture on his research into China's old-age insurance system, at the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC) in Beijing, on Dec 16.

He talked about the reform of China's old-age insurance system against the background of an aging economy and the RMB exchange rate.

Wang Liejun, Vice-Director-General of the DRC's Research Department of Social Development, presided over the lecture with research fellows from the DRC's General Office and other research departments taking part.
