Chen Changsheng, Director-general of the Department of Macroeconomic Research of the Development Research Center of the State Council (DRC), met with Alfred Schipke, the chief representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in China, and James Daniel, assistant director of the IMF's Asia-Pacific Department, on May 24.

They exchanged views on de-leveraging in China, development quality, growth drivers, the trade situation and other topics.
