Class 3A recently learned how to write research reports.

First, each student chose an animal that interested them. Then, they learned how to use encyclopedias, books, and the internet to answer their questions about the animal. Following their research, students wrote an eight to nine paragraph report on their findings.

Their final task was to each create a diorama that showed his or her chosen animal in its natural habitat with everything it needed to survive. This final assignment gave the students the opportunity to apply and show what they learned through their research.
