To the northwest of Pingtan Island and along the more than 500-meter sea surface in the west of Aocun Village stands a disc-shaped reef, which holds two tablet-shaped rocks. The combination of these rocks is like a big ship with two sails, riding on the crest of waves.
Nanzhai Mountain is located in Beicuo Town, south of Pingtan Island in Fujian province. Large granites decorate the low hills. Many of them are of unique shapes, including more than 40 pictographic rock scenic spots.
The lake has a perimeter of 165 kilometers, occupying a gross area of 2.1 million square meters. It has a water retention capacity of 1,290 cubic meters, with a maximum water depth up to 16 meters. Meanwhile, the lake is also a picturesque scenic spot with elegant scenery and inviting views.
Pingnan has been striving to establish a 5A scenic area. Baishuiyang and Yuanyangxi may become the fifth 5A scenic area in Fujian Province and the first in Ningde City.
The museum district consists of a central museum, 37 theme museums and 24 displaying areas. Visitors to the museums can get a comprehensive understanding of the urban community system and the intangible cultural heritage of old Fuzhou, allowing them to perceive the life of Fuzhou residents in the old times.
To the south of the summit stands the Yongquan Temple on a piece of flatland about 450 meters above sea level. The 1,000-year-old temple represents the cream of China's ancient architecture. There are also many inscriptions on precipices.
